Regarding the activities of our collective, June will begin with a few more events concentrated in Berlin. A world premiere by the duo of Mat Pogo and Samuel Hall for the Glass series curated by Munsha, on the 4th at 3x[t]er; a very rare concert by the Penates on Saturday the 6th for the K77 Performance Series; the presentation of Mat Pogo’s new zine, Yorgo Flat!, on Sunday the 7th at Anagram Space in Neukölln, an occasion on which Pogo and Matthias Koole will perform as a duo; and on Wednesday the 10th, a new fundraiser party for Villa K, for which another previously unseen trio will perform featuring Utku Tavil, Matthias Koole, and Mat Pogo.

Longtime record collector, dj and musician Sun Ra Bullock is a founding member of the bands Stumpf, DIKDÆDØR, and Atovmvulkan Britz as well as the label Edelfaul. SRB is also an esteemed member of The Aquasonic Research Society and The Kosmologic Research Society and has released three solo albums with keyboard music on Edelfaul Records.

HERMITCRAB sounds like a band that was raised by the music itself rather than by people. From their earliest, diaper-era encounters with noise to their current incarnation as a fully vocal, self-aware organism, music for them has evolved from a guiding force into a speaking presence. Their sound feels less like carefully constructed compositions and more like raw transmissions from inside their collective primate brain. Driving, restless drum patterns collide with elastic, living basslines, while emotionally overloaded vocals hover somewhere between confession and controlled meltdown. What makes Hermitcrab stand out is their refusal to polish away the weirdness. The result is music that feels honest, unpredictable, and oddly human — absurd at times, intense at others, and always delivered with a disarming sense of humor.

ADAM GOODWIN is a composer, double bassist, multi-instrumentalist, multimedia artist, and independent researcher; active primarily within the fields of contemporary and experimental music, but also in genres including various forms of rock, pop, folk music, and blues. His compositions explore microtonality, resonance, repetition, and psychoacoustic phenomena, often incorporating graphic notation, textual instructions, and conceptual ideas intertwined with traditional musical notation. Adam Goodwin's compositional output is closely connected to and influenced by the natural world.

JEALOUSY PARTY is a Berlin-based avant-garde pop / abstract R&B outfit blending noise and free improvisation with funk, avant rock, dub, and idiosyncratic electronic collage – a fusion they term Punca. Founded in Florence, Italy in 1995 by producers Roberta WJM and Mat Pogo, JP keep their line-up open to variations and explorations. Right now they are active as a trio with WJM, Jimmy G and Mat Pogo on playback devices, electronics and vocals playing metamorphic samples from the library of sessions recorded with an open collective of musicians involved in the Jealousy Party since years. Those recordings are endlessly reshuffled, dubbed and remixed live with a spontaneous use of playback devices that has become one of Jealousy Party's most crucial trademarks, in a musical frame that is never 100% improvised and never 100% fixed.
