I've got to say, this ask made me smile but it also took me aback. I know I take an age to update these days, so some might think my stories abandoned, but it made me wonder how long ago I started posting Absolution on AO3, so I checked.
Over ten years ago.
I've been writing this story for over ten fucking years.
Honestly, I don't know whether to throw myself out the window or give myself a pat on the back for continuing to persevere.

Lining upto be introduced for the final taping of the season, Colin finds himselfthinking of the hundreds of times they’ve stood here through the years and anoverwhelming feeling of gratitude washes over him. Gratitude for a career he’sloved, one that’s given him so many incredible opportunities, and, above all,gratitude for the man standing beside him who’s been so pivotal in it all. In this moment, it seems right toacknowledge it.
“I’mso glad I got to do this with you.”
“Dowhat?” Ryan asks, distracted as Wayne is introduced to thunderous applause.
“Go onthis amazing journey, from our humble beginnings back in Vancouver to this.”Colin smiles. “It’s been one hell of a ride.”
“It’snot over yet!”
“Maybenot, but it’s definitely slowing down,” Colin says with a slight grimace,feeling his knee twinge right on cue. “We can’t keep going forever.”
It’sthis pronouncement that finally makes Ryan turn to peer at him, Jeff’sintroduction momentarily forgotten. “You getting all maudlin in your old age?”
“No, Ijust…” Colin gives a half-shrug before meeting Ryan’s gaze. “I don’t know. I guessI just wanted to tell you how thankful I am. And that I wouldn’t change athing.”
Ryangently nudges Colin’s shoulder with his own, a smile in his eyes. “Me neither.Now go get ‘em.”
“It’s ourfavorite Canadian, Colin Mochrie!”
Met withthe loudest round of applause yet, Colin grins and waves at the delightedaudience. No, he thinks as he finally reaches his seat, not over yet. And heintends to make the most of every second.
You’ve probably completely forgotten about submitting this prompt by now! But I’ve kept all the unfilled prompts on ice while I’ve been away from writing and I’ve recently come back to them. Hopefully better late than never?
“Can youbelieve we’re back here again?”
“No,”Colin said, a small chuckle escaping as he lowered the glass from his lips. “Ialways expect them to cancel us again.”
“I thinkthe fact that we’re incredibly cheap helps.”
“Speakfor yourself!”
“I amincredibly cheap,” Ryan joked, reaching around Colin to grab the champagne bottlethat he’d smuggled away from the after-party supplies in the green room. Heproceeded to refill both of their glasses and then raised his. “A toast! Toseason fifteen of Whose Line, a show so cheap it’s kept us working together fortoo many years to count.”
Colin raised an eyebrow. “Just working?”
“Andplaying,” Ryan amended, placing his glass down to slowly lean in, “and…” He finishedby pressing a kiss to Colin’s neck, then to his jaw, finally meeting his lips.
“Better,”Colin murmured with a soft smile, fingers curling into Ryan’s shirt.
“Youready to go do this?”
Colinpulled him into a deeper kiss that they both felt all the way to the tips of their toes. “Iam now.”

Ah… no, not really. Tumblr isn’t conducive to communities like LJ was. There are a few fan accounts that post pics and gifs, like btwwearenotacouple, but fics are few and far between on here and mostly just links to posts on AO3 (especially since tumblr decided to purge all adult content *eyeroll*). So, yeah, AO3 is probably your best bet, tbh.
