how are you so happy and have accepted being a lesbian? it's been hard for me because of homophobia you're such a role model and seem like an amazing person!
Hi hello! Im sorry for how delayed this response is, I took a break from socials due to mental health. But it took me awhile to fully accept being a lesbian. What helped was I did a lot of self reflection, and figured out a lot of the “negative” things that I initially felt were just things that my family would say about people that are apart of the lgbtq+ community, especially sapphic peeps. Once I realized that, I made an effort to make friends (chosen family really) that are loving and accepting and that foster a warm and loving community. Being around people that fully accepted me for who I was helped me accept myself for who I am even more, and I didn’t feel judged or anything by my friends when it came to me dating and figuring out how to navigate through relationships with women/nonbinary fem folks. I hope all of this makes sense! Just remember you’re valid, you’re doing great and just enjoy the journey ✨
