Today is World Mental Health Day, a day dedicated to global mental health awareness, education, and advisory against social stigma. Created in 1992 by the World Federation for Mental Health, its objective is to raise awareness of mental health issues around the world and to mobilize efforts in support of mental health.
WMHD’s theme this year is Mental Health Services in Times of Catastrophes and Emergencies. In the unprecedented times we live in, it is now more important than ever that people know help is available. And it’s important to make sure that it always will be.
