The said captain laughed as the pair clinked their glasses together. “It’s a little too early don’t you think?” the captain teased, head resting comfortably against her fellow bandmate’s trusty shoulders. Being both slightly challenged in the height department, her fellow little bandmate’s shoulders were what Takamina would call, small yet sturdy. Ever since the countless changes happening in the group since Acchan’s graduation, it had been Yuko who had always been by her side, assisting her in things that’s way too much for Takamina to handle alone…and Takamina hadn’t been exactly vocal about her thanks for the other girl’s help.
Yuko gave Takamina’s forehead a slight jab, “Well, before we get too busy with all the year-end shows, it’s best to say this now.” Yuko sighed. The year-end had always been the busiest period for AKB48 and it’s a miracle that they can have a breather on Boxing Day for a slight rest before the hectic night again. And what’s better for the actress than a slight getaway time with her favorite captain?
“As busy as we can get during the year-end, I love it,” Takamina commented suddenly, earning a raised eyebrow from the other girl. “Well, it gives me the opportunity to be with my Yuuchan, without having to give her to Team K, or her acting stints, or the other commitments…”
“Woahhh, I don’t think I can handle a sentiment Takamina in the afternoon,” Yuko teased.
