Before you can finish your sentence, Lucas stuffed your mouth with your strawberry crepe.
“Well atleast we get a discount and i kinda at least like that role play..”
Lucas whispered the last sentence. You noticed that he is still holding you while walking in the town. You tried to get away but he tighten his grip so that you can’t get lost in his sight again.

You looked at your crepe (which is strawberry flavored) and studies the redness of it.
“But your eyes were empty. It’s like you never seen the true light in your life.” Lucas widened his eyes but he never looked back to you.

You catch him silently laughing from his breath. He catches your gaze but he didn’t bother why you were staring at him for so long.

Lucas stopped from walking and faced you. He noticed that you have a burning passion to help him find his emotions. He never once feel extreme happiness, sadness, fear, and love in his whole life. He’s just living his whole life protecting the tower. And this is the first time that a mere person wants to help him his true light in his heart.
“You know, at first i thought you were a naive person who only cares about themselves. But it seems i’ve been wronged for 3 times today. It’s quite annoying honestly.”
He put his hands on his waist and smiles at you.
