Rion messes up. Big Time. Like super Big Time. As in has to run away from a lot of the stuff he has going on or else he’ll die Big Time. So he ends up going to the one person he thinks might help him: Molly. He is perpetually displeased at this state of affairs.

He wouldn’t ever admit it, but Rion admires Molly’s intelligence and drive, as near to being considered his equal than most other people. Of all of the people he would least like to find himself working against, Molly is definitely high on the list.

Molly is still too committed to more conventional senses of right and wrong for his liking, something which he considers to be a constraint on her ability to succeed. It makes him seriously doubt just how much of a chance she has at survival.
