executive personality.
good order is the foundation of all things. executives are representatives of tradition and order, utilizing their understanding of what is right, wrong and socially acceptable to bring families and communities together. embracing the values of honesty, dedication and dignity, people with the executive personality type are valued for their clear advice and guidance, and they happily lead the way on difficult paths. the main challenge for executives is to recognize that not everyone follows the same path or contributes in the same way. a true leader recognizes the strength of the individual, as well as that of the group, and helps bring those individuals’ ideas to the table.
a lot of the things that were mentioned under executive personality did sum up rick grimes pretty well. i didn’t post it all because there was a lot of stuff there. at the start rick wasn’t keen on being a leader. he never asked for it. he just wanted his family and for them to be safe. however roll on a few years and he is now a respected leader. someone who automatically takes charge when new situations arise regardless of how dangerous they may be. always putting the others before himself. making sure he keeps them alive and stays alive for them.
rick although not the easiest person to win over. the man who doesn’t give out his trust easily wanted to work with the other communities. he wanted everyone to come and live in peace together. to use their skills to aid each other so that no one had to be unprotected. hungry. scared. so that they could be a community together.
it is also a known fact that rick doesn’t always find it easy to listen when people disagree with his plans. although improving on this. it is definitely a flaw and one that has caused more than a few problems.
