Some of my favorite projects have lead to the best memories and experiences. On this trek though thick grassy valleys and quick-sand like glacial silt, we came to a fork in the river, a natural pocket for spawning salmon to enter the fresh waters and swim up river. Our crew spent the day fishing and swapping fish-tales. It wasn't until our trek back that we discovered the grizzly bear tracks following our foot prints, freshly preserved in the low-tide silt along the banks of the river.
