I'm back! For the day 3 of the November challenge I'm gonna make 2 posts as I'm actively working on two projects. Meet my MC: Lexine, a Peace Officer in the 23rd Century. After escaping interstellar smugglers, Lexy learns the impossible: whatever substance she was doused in has triggered a biological anomaly; Her results? She's exhibiting characteristics of being an omega- she's about to go into heat. Lexine's story is first and foremost inspired by two things: Retrofuturism and Dirty Pair (Flash). Retrofuturism has felt like an untapped genre- I mean there's bubble helmets, ray guns, and little green men!! (Though in my universe 'little green men' was a propaganda hit piece to try to steer earthling women away from Martians). Dirty Pair & DP Flash are an anime and manga I watch when I was WAY too young and has had a forever impact on me. Point is, its about two interstellar 'consultants' that fight crime and are capable and sexy while doing so.
