Modular Kitchen Maintenance Tips

  Highly trendy modular kitchens equipped with all the modern amenities is an eye pleaser, makes cooking easy but still needs regular cleaning for the long run, maintaining hygiene and proper functioning. Well maintained kitchen uplifts your mood and makes cooking easy. Follow our tips for easy maintenance.

Before cooking Organize your kitchen such that most commonly used are at your nearest cabin and less used is behind or in the upper cabin. Layout absorbent towels or tissues in the cabinets which prevents any leakages that affect the shelving.

After cooking

Always wipe out the surfaces with warm water so that tough and finger stains are removed; add some vinegar to the water to get rid of the odor. Wipe off food bits and spillage immediately to avoid hardening of stains. Scrub with nylon scrub bristles to scrub the surfaces and tiles, Mop the floor with any good quality cleaning agents

.If any garbage is stuck in the sink use mixture of baking soda and hot water for free plumping of water.

Modular kitchen Accessories Pull out drawers: Layout laminated papers or tissues to protect the shelving. Only keep vessels or any crockery in drawers after drying out the water after washing. Monthly change the papers and wipe inside using a clean cloth.

 Empty and remove the bottom rack and silverware holder. Clean the inside with a solution of water and vinegar, can also add some liquid soap. Run your garburator (garbage disposal) prior to running the dishwasher to help clear the pipes.   

 Other things like Chimney exhaust fans and drainage pipes should also be cleaned twice in a year depending on your usage to remove the deposits and smooth functioning.
