Summary: Alex could feel the searching eyes of the Sergeant, and knowing prolonging this would get him nowhere, turned his face up towards the sun and the man. Surprise fluttered over the man's features, but then he was all business again, though there was a curious glint in his eyes which didn't disappear. The Sergeant's gaze was almost... friendly. Alex met his eyes with an unwavering stare, hoping that the Sergeant had been informed about the circumstances by MI6. The man's eyes narrowed thoughtfully, and Alex decided, nope, 6 has screwed me over again. Hopefully the man would be smart enough not to blow his cover.
My thoughts: I love fics with this premise where Alex actually gets support and stuff. Anyway this one’s short, but it’s well written IMO.
