Page 8. ---- Lindsay, Feb. 27 - An increase over previous months, $300 was paid out in January and February by the County of Victoria in wolf bounties. The bounties have been paid to hunters and farmers in the Kirkfield and Sebright districts. Hundreds of dollars have been paid out by township councils for sheep killed by wolves.
On Tuesday a large wolf was shot three miles north of Lindsay, following a hunt in which six young men took part. Vincent McCabe brought the animal down with one shot.
