Today was the rare day where Alex didn't have a shift. His manager had thought that the man had been too tired recently and let him take a few days off.

He walked down the streets, his heart still heavy with the deaths of the Dragos and for his feelings for Pierre. That was when he saw a young man on the streets. He seemed unkept, dirty. Perhaps he was homeless.

Feeling sorry for him, he went into a store and bought some homemade stew from a local cafe as well as some bread. Alex approached him with a polite smile. "Here. You seem hungry. It's the least I can do for someone less fortunate than myself."
