also I feel like maybe we are demonizing traits in salem that arent part of the bigger issue at hand. lets talk about the pro contact pedophilia apologism, lets talk about showing minors 18+ content and interacting with minors on an account he labels 18+, lets talk about how he seems to center himself as *the* black person that knows everything and can do no wrong. lets talk about the suicide baiting.

I dont think pointing to kink and going "ouuuu he likes diapers thats WEIRD" is super productive and just looks like purity culture. instead focus on the fact that he doesn't take the proper actions to make sure minors dont interact with this kink stuff

one of my major issues with salem and fatness is that he never seems to take into consideration the downsides of being fat. im a fat man, i like being fat, but there is downsides to explore, especially in fiction, that gets put aside to fetishize this trait infront of an audience of minors.

I want to see a fat person with joint pain. Who cant stop sweating. Who has a hard time washing themselves. Who struggles to find clothes that fits. that has horrid body issue days. I want more realistic fat people. not someone thats just dressed up with their stomach out. I love fat acceptance, I do, but that doesnt just stop at fat positivity. it should continue with acknowledging and talking about the struggles fat people face because they are fat.
