Hello everyone! Wolfhome's Event Committee recently hosted a special Earth Day Appreciation Event and we wanted to share the submissions with you! The event ran from 4/18 to 5/13 and was inspired to demonstrate support and advocacy for environmental protection. Any medium was welcomed! For our participants, we have users foxolotl (sea turtle), Lunarwolf and Reacher (tiger) showing us what Earth Day meant to them! How did you celebrate Earth Day?

Lunar Phases

Do you have a friend that has a birthday coming up? An anniversary with someone you love on Wolfhome (even friendiversaries count!)? Your baby bean’s birthday/due date on the way? Or just want to give a random shout-out to a friend? PM Collide with what you’d like to say, and it will be included in the next Lunar Phases post! Need an example? Here is one of the shoutouts that I recieved via PM! "She's the kindest and sweetest person I have had the pleasure of meeting. It's a blast to talk to her everyday. She knows how to assess any problem/situation, as well as instantly make you feel better and brighten up your day. She cares a lot for the tiniest things, and her obsession with Sasuke and Kurt is really great to see. She's turned into a real weeb over a few months. You know those people who you didn't know you needed, but once they're there you ask yourself where they've been all your life? That's Jess. Also since her birthday is coming up: happy birthday, you big weeb." Lunar Phases is looking for SHOUTOUTS!

June News and Updates

Here are Wolfhome’s news and updates for the month of June.

At the end of May, we welcomed back Vice to the Event Committee. In June we were proud to see Blackbird, Affliction, Epilepsy be promoted to the rank of Beta, Ravi was welcomed back to the Gamma team. We are excited to see what our new, and old, team members will bring to Wolfhome in the future.

We also announced our June Member of the Month!  Each month a wonderful, kind, and special Wolfhome user is chosen to be our Member of the Month! These users are friendly, caring, and just a pleasure to have around our community! This is our way of rewarding them for their cordiality.

Congratulations to Mars.

Mars is our June Member of the Month because of his quirky personality that all of Wolfhome has come to enjoy. He's a total sweetheart that has the ability to befriend anyone! His nonstop jokes are a crowd favorite, and they can easily lift someone's mood. So we'd like to take the time to thank Mars for being such a cherished member of this community.

Wolfhome’s Event Committee has been busy for the month of June and has 4 events up and running that you can enter!

First up, we have the Show Your Pride event, Show Your Pride is a fairly simple event, all we want is for you to show us real life pictures of how you celebrate pride! It could be a picture from a couple years ago or today just make sure it is your own!

Next is Draw Your Pride, Draw your pride simply means draw your character(s) and even your friends (with permission) expressing how they show pride! It could be your characters in a parade or waving flags, or just wearing something to represent it!

Third up we have The Tale of Wolfhome, YOU are the director and have an idea for a musical or movie about Wolfhome, and either draw it out as a comic, or write a short story about it!  The musical/movie could feature yours and your friends characters or even the Wolfhome Mascots! *Enter: the Guardian, Guardianess, and Eventful* There are no limits to sub-categories within the main categories of art and writing!

Our fourth event is our Summer Scavenger Hunt: Heat Stroke. Numerous paint buckets and paint brushes have been hidden throughout Wolfhome's chat. And your task is to make sure they are all found and returned! Let me warn you though, Eventful is a master hider. You better come with your magnifying glasses and microscopes people, you are in for a long weekend of hunting!

News and Updates

 Wolfhome has been busy over the last few months so here are a few updates and news that you may have missed.

In the beginning of May we welcomed Fik back to the Alpha team! Along with congratulations to  MochaChu, Buzzard and Decidueye for joining the Art Committee! We were more than excited to welcome them and see what they will bring for us.

Also some rule updates.... Our roleplay death threat rule has been tweaked slightly. Roleplay death threats are now allowed in private settings only. That being said, they cannot be graphic in nature even in a private setting and are still not allowed in public rooms. This only affects death threats made in roleplay only. You can read more about this here! After a successful trial period with revoking rule #22 on the forum, we have now completely revoked it from the site. All reports concerning ToS infringements much be reported with proof of infraction. The administration are no longer posting public rule 22 reminders on topics. Please visit this thread for more information!

For end of our successful month of May we have welcomed Rayna back to the Beta team AND  the Art Review Team! Along with welcoming our new members to the Relations Team,  Arestu and Mab! Welcome back and congratulations to everyone.

Other news will be that our Admin applications and Event Committee applications are now CLOSED. If you love to promote sites and would be interested in assisting in the promotion of Wolfhome then the Relations Team may be just for you. Good luck to all who applies to the team!

And finally, the Event Committee are now hosting a Wolfhome Artist Spotlight! Congratulations to Sekhet for winning May's Artist Spotlight!
