My big boy Bentley, a suspected German Shepherd/Wolfhound mix. A rescue that I adopted recently from the kennel I work at. He was surrendered at about a year and a half old, by the lady who found him on the side of the road when he was 6ish months old. He got to big for her home, and she realized she wasn't getting the socialization he needed. For having such a rough start in life, and being as unsure of people as he is, he is a fantastic dogs dog. He can read body language so well, and knows when to push a shy dog to come out if their shells, or let them approach them on their own. He also can appropriately correct an overly rowdy dog or one that's being a bit of a brat, haha. He's my rehab buddy, not only for clients, but also with my girl Raz. Ben is the first dog that she's allowed in the house without a confrontation in three years.
