Hi! A highschool in my towns mascot is "the brave", a Native American. A few of the students, 40% native blood line and higher might I add, are fighting for it to be changed. We live in the "Deep South" so there are a lot of racist and ignorant people who just don't understand how insulting it is to Native Americans to have their people used as mascots. I just posted a link to the page these students have made, would you mind sharing it for awareness? (Cont.)

The students there have gone to their board of directors at the highschool, the page is to raise publicity and support and, like I said, to spread awareness that having mascots such as "the braves" can be totally offensive to their culture. That is all, and it would really appreciate it if you could share.
