ツ - make my muse laugh/smile

Hijikata rarely laughs, preferring to keep an air of dignity and refinement around him. Coupled with his lack of a sense of humor, it means the vice-commander is often a stoic man. He enjoys a sarcastic snicker at Souji’s expense, but very rarely lets out a genuine laugh. The few times he does laugh, he is often drunk and too far gone to care about his image as ‘the oni of the Shinsengumi.’ Sake and good company are the key to getting a genuine laugh out of Hijikata.

Saitou smiled toward her gently, cupping his tea in his hands and resting them against his lap, "I am glad you think so, Wolfie. But why is it so relaxing?"

Saitou chuckled softly, stroking her head again, "It's quite alright. I've learned to expect the unexpected with Souji around. Is it getting warmer? I can still feel the chill of winter in my bones. I have a feeling it's going to be a bit longer before we get the sakura flowering again."
