Just looking at it felt painful, like there were thorns digging into her skin. How he could handle it without being scratched or cut was beyond her. And yet, something in her compelled Pascale to take it from him-like it was a challenge, of sorts.

She held it as delicately as she could, trying to minimize the damage to her hands. Setting it upon her head, the former monarch winced at the sharpness of it. But she did it.

((Not gonna lie, I’m kinda...on the fence about that one at the moment. I’m not completely dismissing it, but it’s one that would require a lot of communication (and trigger warnings) to keep things going and comfortable. And I won’t deny that I’m biased against something that requires lots of communication right now just because of my current mental state because stress.

It sounds like an interesting concept, but I think it’s one we’d have to discuss at a much later time. I hope that’s okay to say.))
