It took a while to convince her to go out but after a few nudges Cerise gave in and went to the local bar with Mal where they sat at a small round table, challenging each other who could drink who under the table as they threw down shot after shot

(I suck at drabbles so blah)It was a against the visitation rules but no nurse or doctor seemed to have the heart to pull Cerise off the bed as she lay next to her friend, trying not to spill out tears no matter how many times Dean would tease he wouldn’t make fun of her for it.She propped up on an elbow as she looked over him and smiled as she started to talk about the milkshake she bought him when she first some him alone on the streets then to the concerts they snuck into along with pulling pranks on his little brother. The daring things they did hand and hand and the quiet movie nights with Dean’s manly tears.By the end of her speech tears were rolling down beside a shaky smile when she realized visiting hours were done and would have to leave soon.Cerise looked from the clock to him and ran her fingers through his hair “Same time?” He shook his head and pulled her to him, kissing her on the lips as the heart monitor gave off a sound no one wants to hear.
