Just wanted to let you know that, even if I'm not into everything you write, I still love how you write, and that you write, and I am so thankful for all the stories you have written - whether I was into them or not, whether you finished them or not.
Thank you so much for this? Like...It means more than you know to hear. Writing is both my stress relief and my joy but it is hard especially when my brain cannot will not focus for long chunks of time and likes to cycle hyperfocus fandoms.
And I am deeply, deeply aware of how much I write, and how much is not finished, and that I swear I will come back to those that are not. And I will. It's not in me to set my babies aside.
But to get notes like this....it makes the struggle, the work, the leap of faith that is posting something you're not sure is going to do well worth that leap.
I write the things that I want to see written. Seeing other people enjoy them just as much- others stop to share encouragement like this- sometimes thats all the difference in the world. Sometimes that is what makes an author pick up a work that they haven't touched in three months, six months, a year, three years....sometimes, all it takes, is waking up and finding a note like this sitting somewhere for us to read.
