it was agreed upon in the Supernatural Art Club discord server that a highly Cas-coded animal is the viscacha, relative of the chinchilla with a perpetually sleepy/grumpy face always 2 seconds away from dozing off

(Dean's a wolverine here and it's all @niceworkhuggybear's fault. @meowmeowfart0421 and @honeykrak3n have also agreed to be at'd for unwittingly encouraging the creation of this specimen so blame them as well)

I'm not very good at drawing animals but I had to guys you don't get it. so please accept viscacha!cas pulling the much larger wolverine!dean up by the scruff of his neck as well as Dean covering Cas with a blanket like in That One Episode. also a tiny 5 minute doodle that's unironically better than the main things here lool. that pawprint scar was a last second edition and so were the determined little Eevee-esque determined lines around Cas' eyes. Cas looks kinda like Eevee anyway if I'm being honest, the pokemon brainrot never strays too far chat what can I say

instead of going with their hair colors as the fur color, I went with some other colors in the palettes I had for the characters. for most characters, the swatches there consist of hair, skin, and eye color and then the colors I use for their shoes (sole + whatever the main shoe part is called). Dean's swatch has his necklace's color instead because it's annoying to refind; Cas never changes outfits so he has two swatches. preset 2 is my beloved from years ago on my old phone, featuring the white I use for eyes and teeth, mouth + tongue colors, facial hair color (also featured in Cas' fur color here!), bright blushy pink I never use anymore, and angel grace blue. so yeah rare glimpse into my art process (mentioned it before but I draw on an animation app called Flipaclip Studios and don't have a stylus or anything so I just use my finger like a real alpha (hence why everything looks so clunky))

also I just discovered alpha lock was a thing. why did no one tell me this is a thing. I could've been so much lazier with recoloring stuff for all these years guys why did no one tell mee ,_,

Inktober day 21 X men! Destiel with white king!Cas and wolverine!dean because why the hell not

uh oh I'm Experimenting again guys, this time trying to create something apparently called an isometric room. very different art style this time around with a weird new shading style but I wanted to try something new because this disasterpiece just so happens to be a (definitely not last minute) gift for @demetriustheangel's annual aging :000000

here are two versions of nearly the same thing: the original that I made too low in the frame and didn't notice until I was 8 layers deep in work and too lazy to fix it, and the version I moved up to center the room (but it looks kinda weird to me and idk why, probably the way that I did it by combining the layers into one and moving everything then pasting them back in and yeah idk it's a mess)

but anyway yeah I went with a more simple animal crossing villager sort of style here, with all the characters as various animals (featuring viscacha Cas, wolverine Dean, dog Sam, cougar Jody, and lynx Donna). the additional characters not at the tables are the two workers in Gas-N-Sip style vests: Tyler the opossum mopping the floors (@honeykrak3n's OC; she also let me bounce ideas around and also helped me come up with Jody and Donna's species as well as telling me it is indeed called an isometric room and not a 'floating cube room scene' which would've been helpful when looking up guides to draw it...) and ofc the bull terrier at the counter is Demetrius' own OC for the vibes (looking very stressed in the job but who wouldn't be with 5 hunters in their place of employment). fun fact but the plates of food with the exception of Donna's milkshake were last minute additions because the tables looked too empty, so please accept Dean and Cas eating pies and Sam with a salad (Jody has a burger but her body is blocking everything but the plate so pretend she finished it already ig). this started out as a 2D Burger King sketch (+ a crown or two) but became a 3D weird cubical diner I hope you're happy ghkjgddk

here's the scene with a transparent background, aka the reason I adjusted the cube in the first place lol. I really have no idea what I was doing with the shading but idk don't really hate it. might revisit this style in the future, likely with more tiny animal spn characters

I don't even know what happened here tbh. it started out as oh I can draw like Dean and Cas in armor because a lot of her OCs are like medieval (?) to some extent. then it became oh I can make them animals haha that would be fun oh oh and let's add a horse bc she likes horses yep uh huh—wait when did it become a weird Puss in Boots AU????

that was pretty much the thought process. I tried using colored pencils for the first time with this one but I don't think it turned out super great tbh lol. I only had the one brown and wanted to differentiate between like six different shades so I tried combining stuff and uh yeah so the blending didn't work too great and it came out just kinda weird. thank @ragd0lly for helping me not tear up the page and eat it out of frustration

also ashamed to say I could definitely see myself expanding this AU. ie if it's based on Puss in Boots (somehow, still don't know how that happened) then Jack just has to be Perrito right? what species should he be though (personally I think something huge would be funny. I find crazy size differences to be amusing, hence why Cas is like half Dean's size at all times. imagine that little fluffy boy pulling Dean up from Hell like bro he's an apple and a half tall MAX okay ,_,)
