Aqua had considered using her glider to search this world, but in the grand scheme of things it ultimately didn’t make for the best method. Convenient, sure, but it didn’t amount to much when she ran the risk of speeding past a possible, crucial lead.
But that wasn’t the only thing that would prove a hindrance for her. No, in this world there didn’t have to be Unversed or Heartless dogging her steps when it was dangerous all on its own. She’d been attacked in the air by bat-like creatures, and on the ground just recently she’d done her best to avoid a plant-like creature that left her a parting gift in the form of a nasty gash across her thigh. She’d healed it for the most part but decided it better to converse her energy and let it heal naturally. She’d have to clean it again soon when she found a place that allowed for that.
There was another peculiar thing about this place. Regardless of where she went, everything here felt heavier. Even the air seems to bear down on the young woman relentlessly. She felt tired more often, and had to stop more to rest. It was another good reason to forgo using her glider; she didn’t want to fall off or get knocked off too easily.
So here she was, camping out in what looked like a mass of wastelands until she could find a town. There was one not far off that she could probably reach the next day, so she’d stopped to be sure she was well-rested for whatever she’d encounter there the following morning.
At least her magic still worked, a bit of a spark and she had a roaring fire to keep her warm. Now all she needed was a nice blanket, maybe a coat or something, and she’d feel far better. For now all she had was her keyblade nestled between her folded arms, and her WayFinder dangling from around her neck.
