Just an update on TikTok drama I’m currently trying to figure out
Pink Sauce put someone in the hospital. The woman that created it made a bunch and profited. However, the people that bought it received what was essentially expired sauce. Some was filled with Mold, bloated bottled, one girl is in the hospital.
Womblands spin-off involving “white passing vs white presenting”. I truly need people to understand that within different communities, these worlds means something different, especially in the Black community because that’s where the terms began. I sort already touched on this.
An Asian creator is backtracking because she said that abortion is the worst human rights violation on American Soil. Backtracking to say that every civilization experienced slavery in some shape or form, ignoring the part where she said ON AMERICAN SOIL. She has been checked by the Asian community on TikTok, but she’s still being dragged by the Black community.
Kylie Jenner, and just celebrities apologists in general. Like there’s only oh so much someone who drives a 2007 car and makes at most $30,000 a year can do. So me not eating beef or drinking from paper straws isn’t helping when Kylie and Friends will hop onto a private jet for 5 minutes because they didn’t want to drive 50 minutes.
White people gentrifying cultural food. Between cowboy caviar( pico de gallo( did is spell that right?)or corn salsa) and spa water ( agua fresca) I’m over it.
And white people(again) who will say you shouldn’t be wearing shirts for certain bands if we don’t know the significance of each band( ie name at least three songs by them). But for whatever reason can’t grasp the very basic concept of cultural appropriation. ( I should make a post about this.)
And that’s just the TikTok drama I’ve have to deal with on my FYP.
