i’m genuinely so confused what farleigh did that is so horrible. someone called him an anti-hero and my eye started twitching. “farleigh defender” WHAT r we defending him from?
i feel like the “eccentric rich people” trope just comes with being a bitch. farleigh isn’t somehow a worse character because he said the same things as everyone else. i aint seen a elsbeth hater and shes arguably way worse than farleigh in the mean girl department.
at least he had a genuine need to uphold face so he didn’t get shipped back to america. he’s also a train wreck. somehow, he’s the most normal character in that entire movie.

Okay, so when I heard Claire was coming back to the show, I was excited. But after watching the first episode I just found her whiny and pointless.
(Cont of Claire). Her 2 episode arc was distracting and unnecessary to the overall story. Her departure was so abrupt and OOC-saying she finally understood Cas. The whole thing makes Cas look like a fool because he let her go so easily after hearing what he wanted to hear from her.
I agree... I watched the episode last night and while it was mildly entertaining, it felt slow and disjointed. I loved a couple Cas moments and Rowena is kinda delightful but other than that I'm like zzz. Claire's actress is terrible but to be fair she wasn't given good stuff to work with. Her scene with Cas in the motel felt straight out of a soap opera! And then the neatly-wrapped bow at the end with them saying goodbye...? Uh...? No.
probably eventually i should finish my office rewatch so i can get back to doing my top caps but i don't want the creys again
