You were in Wonbin’s room, waiting for him to come out of the shower since you were going to have dinner at a restaurant, like you usually did every weekend. You were lying on his bed, scrolling through some videos on your phone until you finally got bored and tossed it to the side. How could he be taking so long?
You sat up on the bed and looked around his room, searching for something to keep yourself entertained in the meantime. That’s when your gaze landed on his guitar. You had never learned how to play it, but you loved listening to Wonbin play—it always seemed so easy when he did it.
You stood up from the bed to grab it, hesitating for a few seconds before picking it up and sitting back down on the edge of the bed, resting it on your lap. You didn’t even know if the guitar was tuned or not; you really had no clue about chords or where to place your fingers. You just let your fingers slide across the strings, curious about how it would sound.
Hearing the strum of his guitar, Wonbin came out of the bathroom, curious about what you were doing. He was already dressed, though his hair was still damp, and as he dried it with a towel, he walked over to you. “What are you doing?” he asked, looking down at you.
“Do you know how long you’ve been in there? I was starting to fall asleep…” you mumbled, avoiding his gaze, letting him know you were a little annoyed.
Wonbin let out a soft chuckle before stepping behind you. He gently wrapped his arms around yours and pressed a kiss to your cheek before murmuring, “Let me show you a few chords…”
There were two things Wonbin loved most: playing the guitar and you. Combining the two was, for him, the most precious thing in the world. So, even though you were already running late for dinner, Wonbin wanted to spend a little more time teaching you something he loved, especially since he knew you’d shown interest in learning too.
