It had been 20 minutes since he had last called Annie, he was suppose to be getting them ready for their conference with a big time investor. But something was off, call it an intuition or a gut feeling. But William knew that Annie wasn’t okay. Normally, Annie would have responded with a gif or something silly letting him know that they were okay, but yet nothing at all. William excused himself from the investor and had told them that he would be calling Annie, reminding them of their appointment.
Rushing into an empty room. William undid his tie as he closed his eyes, he fell onto the floor, sinking his fingers into the carpet, William coughed out some blood, as two white wings materialized from the back of his shirt. “Shit that hurt like hell.” He thought to himself, as those two wings wrapped around him. Clearing his mind, William thought of Annie, and all of the good times they had together. He could pick up on her energy, but it was faint and fading fast. In a white blur, William disappeared from the room and appeared in the room that Annie was located in. Sapphire colored eyes widen in fear as he saw the bloody, and gruesome site in front of him.
“Annie!” William called out as he rushed towards their bloody body. Lifting them up in his arms, William once again wrapped his wings around the two of them. Holding their bloody body against his arms, William did his best to heal some of the wounds, granted his powers weren’t as strong as they were before, but his powers healed some of the wounds. “C’mon we have to get you out of here, Annie!” He told them as he thought of the entrance to a hospital, and boom, just like that the two of them were covered in a white light as they disappeared in a blinding light.
Only to reappear at a side entrance of a hospital, this time his wings were nowhere to be seen. Rushing to the entrance of the hospital, William quickly called out for help at the reception booth, “Please! SOMEONE HELP ME! THEY NEED HELP!” He yelled out to be met with nurses and doctors rushing out with a stretcher.
“You need to stay here. We will call you when they are stabilized.” They explained to Will as he argued to go with Annie, yet they were admanet to keep him where he was.
“Be safe Annie. I love you,” He thought to himself as he dropped down to the floor, tears welling up in his eyes as he started to punch at the ground, making a scene in the lobby.
