Lonliness Before Christmas (Thomas|Piers|Sherry)
According to Piers, it was one of the human holidays again. He knew of it of course, having spent time mostly in Christian countries, but he never had the opportunity to clebrate it. But where before he would give two weeks without a roof over his head for five minutes of the experience, now he couldn't care less.
What good was celebrating when the most important person wasn't there to celebrate it with you?
He stuck this past few days to Piers lke a faehugger to a face(yes, he watched all of the Alien films), not letting the man out of his sight, afraid he'd vanish too. He didn't want to be alone. He wanted Chris back.
It was hard for Thomas to show any cheer.
So...word had finally reached her.
She stood in the lab, watching the young woman at reception. She'd grown up lovely, there was no doubt about that. The receptionist pointed her in Alina's direction.
Taking the initiative, she stepped out of the labs, and into the hallway to greet her.
"Sherry Birkin, it's been some time,"
"Excuse me, Miss, but w-would you happen to be Sherry Birkin?"
