« Voix pour l’égalité et la paix en Israël et Palestine » se joint à la mobilisation internationale en faveur du docteur Hussam Abu Safiya, directeur de l’hôpital Kamal Adwan de Gaza, actuellement détenu dans des conditions scandaleuses à la prison souterraine de Rafeket à Ramleh en Israël. Le docteur Abu Safiya a refusé d’abandonner son poste et a assuré dans des conditions très difficiles la continuité des soins dans son hôpital. Son enlèvement et les conditions de sa détention sont constitutifs d’un crime de guerre et d’une atteinte particulière au statut des professions de santé qui doivent bénéficier d’une protection. Sa vie est aujourd’hui en danger, selon l’alerte de ses défenseurs.
