They hid this from most people, but adjusting their voices and tapping away at the voice panel on their necks was a tiring task for the Spy twins. So when the concert was over, the pair were relieved to have time to themselves. They trudged towards their shared room, and pushed open the door.
Obsessive immediately looked up from his book as his two lovers dragged themselves to the bed and lazily flopped onto its soft and plush surface.
"You did good," Obsessive rubbed Jesse's hair, and a tired smile spread across his face. "I saw a livestream."
Talyn pushed her body up and wrapped her arms around Obsessive's waist. He put down his book and pet her hair, feeling her lean into the show of affection. He shifted and shuffled until he was laying down on his back, twins on either side of him. Gently, he pressed a kiss to each of their faces.
"C'mon, Mar, let's have some fuckin fun!" Melanie grabbed Marina's arm, ignoring her cries of protest, and threw her through a portal. Howling with delight, Mel joyfully leapt in after her.
"God damn it Mel," Marina pushed herself up. There was white, crunchy snow beneath her, and soft flakes fell around her, getting stuck in her tangled locks. "Also, where ARE we?"
"Bitch, I don't know!" Mel put her hands on her hips and looked up at the sky. The sun was a strange red colour. Mel pulled Marina up and dragged her along as they ventured into the forest in front of them.
"Mel, stop," Marina gently held Mel's arm, stopping her from going further. "I hear voices."
Marina crept to the edge of the forest, closer to the voices. She saw wagons, and huge circus tents. One of the bigger wagons had the words "Herman Fuller's Circus of The Disquieting" in huge, cursive letters. Apparently Herman was still living here.
Her thoughts were cut off when a man sprung from the wagon. He was tall, dressed in a tall hat and deep purple robes. He laughed heartily, grin wide on his face as another man came running out from the same wagon, chasing him down in the icy cold of winter. Reginald Wondertainment and Herman Fuller ran through the snow barefoot, giggling like schoolgirls. They teased each other like lovers, and soon they were making out on the snow.
"…holy shit, they're gay as fuck." Mel commented, crouching beside Marina.
"I think I've seen enough."
"Hey, Medicine?" Botany poked his head into the herbal garden. The plague doctor perked up, a basket full of picked herbs hung from his arm. "I, uh, need a little help… it's about Lilac."
"Oh. Oh, sure!" Medicine quickly got up, brushing off the dirt on his robe. The two men swiftly made their way to Lilac's room.
"Ah," Medicine brushed the sick girl's damp hair away from her face. "I believe she may have a high fever."
"Damn," Botany bit his lip, shoving a hand through his hair. "The clinic is all the way on the other side of the building. It's gonna take a while to get there."
"I can take care of her for you, if you aren't willing to leave her alone." Medicine offered.
Botany smiled, and agreed to let Medicine watch over his daughter while he made the journey to the clinic.

"Dude, what are you doing?" Angel leaned against a wall as they watched Apateon and her Gucci Gang prepare a plethora of pranks to play on the people of her shared company.
"We're about to play like, at least 5 pranks on a bunch of people." Mr. Flare replied, grinning like an adorable idiot. Which he was.
"Ah, okay," Angel popped a lollipop in their mouth, sucking on it as they watched their friend and his group work. Sure, he was a dumbass, but he was funny dumbass, and kinda cute if they had to be perfectly honest. Not enough to pique their interest though. Now, Tatsumiya, that might be someone worth chasing. They would miss her, but their aim was getting better.
Angel peeked around the corner, watching Marbles and Chitin set up one of the pranks. A classic bucket of water balanced on the door of Apateon's office. Their chubby cheek squished against the wall as they imagined the poor employee who would probably be called to Apateon's office for the prank. They hummed a little as they watched the crew continue on, waiting for then to round the corner before following. But only because they wanted to know where the traps were and how to avoid them. A normal part of their daily routine.
Marina scratched Donna behind the ear as she worked, keeping an(literal) eye on her swishing, plumed tail. She was multitasking, doing work and playing with the currently-gone-feral Donna. Not as easy as it might have sounded, but Marina was doing alright. Plus, she had help from others.
"Mar," Nightlight popped his head into the room. "What are you doing up at this time?"
"I couldn't sleep," Marina replied, keeping her eyes on the papers in front of her. "That, and Donna really wanted to play with me. Which is bad, considering recent events."
Nightlight sighed. He knew what she meant by that.
"Then let me take care of Donna, and you go to rest for the night." Marina paused.
"Are you sure?" She turned away from the papers. "She's wild."
"I handled her before," Nightlight pressed a kiss to Marina's forehead and took over head scratching duty. "I can do it again. Go on, get the rest you deserve."
Marina managed a tired smile and stood up, brushing invisible dust off her dark red skirt.
She fell face forward into her bed and decided that tomorrow, she would sleep in.
"This reminds me of my village." Myth sat on a carved wooden chair in Carter's little house, sipping a cup of rich tea in his hands. Things had gotten a little overwhelming for him, so the invitation from Carter was a blessing.
"Really?" Carter looked up from the little rabbit in his arms. "What was your village like?"
Carter was well aware that Myth was not human, and he had came and grew up in a violent, war-crazed place, which eventually led to its downfall. He knew he had more than enough scars on his skin to string together an elaborate biography.
"Before my family shipped me off to train for war," Myth shivered at the memory. "My life was… actually quite peaceful. Learning to grow crops, learning to raise livestock, being educated, all those stuff. I loved it. The farmer life was something I liked but since I was a male… I didn't have a choice but to become a warrior, or I'd be shunned forever."
"Oh, that's horrible!" Carter placed a hand on Myth's shoulder.
"I'm just glad I don't have to fight all the time now." Myth beamed at the elder.
Tula gasped at her image in the mirror. She had went to Rock for a little makeover, after Freya's constant reccomendations to go claiming it'd boost her confidence, but Tula certainly hadn't expected it to be so well done.
"Soo," Rock put her hands on Tula's shoulders. "What do you think, darling?"
Tula was dressed in an off-shoulder, powder white dress with cream highlights that reached her knees. There wasn't much makeup, since Rock didn't think it was needed. All in all, Tula had to admit… she looked amazing.
"I… wow..." Tula could really only stare in awe at her reflection.
"This is going to be perfect for your date with whichever of your many lovers you have plans with today!" Rock leaned closer to her ear. "But I wouldn't be surprised to find these on the floor tomorrow~"
Tula was completely taken aback. Her face flushed over immediately and she brought her hands to hide her face swiftly.
"Rock!!" Tula squealed. "Don't say stuff like that!!!"
Daniel stared from the catwalk above at the huge cuddle pile Pierce and their series had formed. They were looking quite comfortable. He would have felt bad for what he was going to do, but he absolutely HAD to get back at Poison's prank. So he let go of the string...
And watched in pure evil as ten full buckets tipped water and lusterdust over the edge of the catwalk and onto the family-like group below. He walked away, listening to the sounds of then screaming and yelling.
Mordecai Medic had a crush. And it was not good. There was a new person working at Wondertainment and holy shit they were adorable. And also kinda chubby. They looked so damn cute all the time. And that fashion sense! They were basically perfect. Sure, going to Marina for advice probably wasn't the greatest idea, but it was all he had.
"Hey, Mordecai!" Marina greeted him warmly as he stepped into her office. He grinned.
"Hey!" He made himself comfortable.
"So," Marina asked. "What did you want advice about?"
Suddenly he couldn't speak right. He tried to tell her, but he kept stumbling over his words and his mind continuously drifted towards daydreaming about and yearning for that employee. Marina didn't try to guess, and kept quiet, up ubtil it was very clear he wasn't going to be able to use his mouth to tell her.
"You have a crush on Angel don't you?" With those words alone, Medic swore he could have choked. Marina sighed with a chuckle.
"Look, I'll tell you what I usually say about crushes." She leaned towards him.
"If you like it and you want it, go and get it."
"Alyssum, meet Tulip!" Lyrebird sat little Alyssum next to Tulip, and moved away from the pair to join Flora, Birthday, Klaus, and Tooth in observing the next events.
The two babies observed each other for a minute, before starting to get closer looks at the other, obviously curious about what the other was like.
"Friend!" Alyssum exclaimed, and Tulip excitedly repeated the word. She threw her arms around her new friend, and the next thing they knew the pair were inseperable.
"Ohhh," Lyrebird cooed. "That's adorable."
Angel was just walking down a hallway, listening to Pietro talking excitedly about their many many birthdays when they saw something very strange. Something big, pink, and covered in blue eyes. Another thing that caught their attention was the loud gasp that came from beside them.
"MISTER PRESENTS!!!!"Pietro yelled, sprinting towards the 8 foot tall icecream-like blob. They immediately wrapped their arms around him in a hug, and lifted him up. Angel was very confused… by how absolutely squishy this guy just so happened to be.
"Umm…. Pietro? What…" Angel trailed off as the blob - Mr. Presents apparently - made his way towards them. They shuffled back a little as he came in front of them and stared. There was a part of them that also wanted to poke him just to test the squishiness of him.
"PRESENTS!!!!!" Suddenly the rest of the birthday series rushed past them and towards the giant blob creature. They leaped up to grasp him in a huge group hug, but even then it wasn't enough to wrap all the way around him. Angel watching the interactions of the family reunion, unsure if it'd be appropriate to join them.
"Angel!" Pietro suddenly grabs their hand, dragging her towards the rest of the group. "You gotta meet Presents!! He's squishy!"
Then they leaned in closer and whispered something else.
"I know you like hugs and cuddles." They gave the employee a wink.
Angel awkwardly walked up to the giant blob. Suddenly they tripped, and they fell forward. Angel squeezed their eyes close, preparing to hit the hard floor… and was very surprised when they didn't. Instead, they fell into a very soft and squishy surface. Like a blob.
"Oh, Angel!" Pietro clapped their hands together. "Mr. Presents saved you! Isn't that adorable?"
They didn't need to look at Pietro to know they were winking at them.
Hilariously, the next thing they knew, Presents was zooming down the hall with them in his grasp.
"PRESENTS NO!!!" Pietro laughed.
Presents only gurgled with happiness as he swiftly maneuvered around obstacles. Angel didn't have to do a single thing to hold on, considering Presents had half absorbed them into his body, instead they were giggling and laughing away.
