She stared at the gifts and smiled softly; "... know me too well Jongjin-oppa..." she stood up and hugged him tightly; "Thank you... Especially for the Luffy plushie."

Aigoo… A little.. [‘she murmurs softly, biting her lip as she shyly lifts her eyes to meet his, cheeks lightly brushed with a rosy hue]

"Jetlagged? Sounds like you have just gotten back from a trip." Jongjin mumbled, blowing out the smoke of his cigarette. Just then, after he thought of his own politeness, he pulled out the pack of cigarettes, extending it to the man. "Do you smoke?"

"Well, I have.", Myungsoo nodded, glancing at the other, thinking for a second about France, where he’d spent the last months. "Ah, thanks.", he took out one cigarette and got the lighter from his bag to light it. "I smoke sometimes, you know. When I’m in a mood for it."

Jongjin took his first, deep inhale that was followed by a sigh of relief. Oh, he really needed that. His attention drew back to reality and he focused on the male in front of him, frowning a little while glancing around the empty path. "What is someone like you doing here at this time?"

The idea of having a cigarette crossed Myungsoo’s mind for an instant, just because he wanted to do something, not only stand there, thinking of life. The stranger’s question was good and had no answer     he didn’t know why he was there. “I’m just… Wandering. I’m jetlagged and bored. What about you? Just having a smoke?”

As soon as the stranger roamed around in his bag, Jongjin no longer waited for a reply, his lips curving up almost victoriously for himself had found a lighter. The gratitude was barely audible as the male popped the perfectly rolled cigarette between his lips and lit it up, handing back the lighter with a smile.

The engineer got the lighter back and shoved it back into the leather bag, nodding back to the other. For a moment he thought the stranger had thanked him     not quite about that, though, he said nothing.

"You do not happen to have a lighter, do you?"

Myungso only smoke when he was under pressurer or extreme stress, not being addicted to nicotine like most smokers. He just liked it because it was a good distraction sometimes. At the stranger’s question, the male didn’t answer, reaching for his leather bag to check if he had a lighter. “You’re lucky. Here it is.”, he offered the other the item, lips curving subtly upwards.

"Do I make you uncomfortable? It seems so because you keep avoiding any conversations." He chuckled lowly.

He bit the inside of his lower lip, offered a small smile then turned his back to the male and walked away. Some people were thick and Jongjin was proving to be one of them.
