Quick Tip for #mayformakers day 5. ‘Fast n Dirty’ dowel jig. If you need a dowel that matches a project, drill a hole in some mild steel scrap the size of the dowel you need, chuck up a bit of cut off material from the project (make sure it’s slightly larger than the dowel size you need), clamp up the steel to something sturdy, and spin it through while applying light downward pressure.
