Before covering craft foam with worbla you sometimes have a few layers of craft foam. I recommend that instead of gluing the layers of craft foam pieces together you use double-sided tape. The tape has the benefit that it does not take time to dry, gives a smooth surface and makes you able to remove and replace the craft foam pieces if you put them wrongly.

If it is your first time using worbla, don’t start with something where you will need two identical pieces. Start with something asymmetrical!

Worbla tip #1

When heating up worbla it will easily stick to the surface your working on and ruin both the piece your working on and your working surface. By placing a piece of parchment paper you use for baking on a piece of cardboard paper you will be able to work with the worbla without risking it to get stuck to the paper and spare your working surface from some of the heat.
