any plots you wish the show had done?
omg so many. there are a lot of unexplored bits Especially about the people from bojacks past. but i understand as well how they are not the focus or point of the show
to name some off the top of my head
- more on secretariats life, and death (how that was received in the news, how bojack took the news when he was younger. how his PARENTS reacted to him reacting to the news. “He killed himself because of people like you, bojack. his fans. he took the easy way out”)
- more stuff from the 80s to 90s era !! specifically between bj and pc 🥀 they had such an interesting growth and i think seeing that in more detail like especially how different bj treats her as she becomes more of a “person” in his eyes (as she moves up the ranks in the industry) would be really interesting for the meta narrative about hollywoo(d). And bc i think they’re cute. although i hate the way he treats her the few times we see them interact in the past and i would want her to walk him like a dog (horse?)
- more abt 80s herb and bj. like at least a full episode. especially before he got the show greenlit. i think seeing their relationship in more detail would have made the falling out episode hit even more. and the episode where he kisses and him. cuz Why did he kiss him … i know they were up to some weird gay chicken bullshit that herb must’ve gotten the wrong idea from… but what did he do to give him that impression… it haunts me …. “i’m not gay, herb” (“ur dick was in my mouth 2 minutes ago !”)
