English is *Weird*, Man

I mean, in a normal language, you'd think that a "power top" is something one could wear under the blazer of one's "power suit."

(I own copies of a two-book series titled "English as a Second Fucking Language." The goal of the series is to teach non-native speakers how to swear idiomatically in (primarily American) English. So, for instance, it discusses the fact that even though "off" and "on" are opposites, "to be pissed off" and "to be pissed on" are not.)
