Today's Special
Lately I've been wondering, when someone tells you, you're special. I ask myself do they mean the "Chef's Special of the Day" you know it's only special for one day or the diamond kind of special, someone unique, rare, very valuable... You get the picture. Because a lot of people say things that they really don't mean just to be polite. But to be honest, I myself prefer to be told the truth rather than polite verbose. I respect people who that give an honest opinion. Not much into sugar coat. Too much sugar makes you sick, anyway.. And I will be honest to say that I am guilty of sugar coating here and there. But GOD knows I try to give a truthful opinion. Like this post for example.
So if you want to call people special? Don't say the words because you'll usually mean the Chef's Special on a menu. Show them how special they are so they don't even have to ask. They know they are real gems in your life by how you treat them.
All things said and done.
