Lee opened a whole new window of possibilities but at that time I was too occupied with other things to notice. Enter into the scene number five (my given name for him). Although he'd pretty much been a part of my life since 2018, 2019 was when he decided he needed to be more. We were meant to be more. And the idea of him and me being more was more than exciting, it was Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious.
Number five was the kind of guy who becomes the one. He had everything from movie star looks, to Einstein brains, he was funny and as if that wasn't enough he was the perfect gentleman.
We'd been vibing for a year by then and so far all was good. That was until he decided it would be so much better if we dated. I don't normally say this but not agreeing to try was a mistake. Looking back I understand why he left.
So basically I was dealing with number five when Lee told me his intentions. In the end Lee and I remained friends. Well two years later he's a father and a good one at that.
July 2019. The month that changed everything. I'd met a new guy. I'll call him Patrick. This new guy had everything I ever wanted in a guy. Problem was, we both knew we'd never survive if we did end up together. So we had fun and a lot of it at that. From smoking weed to getting drunk to making out every chance we got. It was perfect. That's the thing about my life everything is perfection. Well that didn't last long, he was a rebound afterall. We are still friends though, and best ones at that.
Patrick was nice. We even went ahead and fake dated for a while just to set the ball rolling. That was when I met him or rather texted him. The-actual-one.
