It kills me that Byakuya didn't blink at Toushirou randomly becoming an adult in TYBW, they're like me and my work bestie fr.

I've always thought that based on their personalities and disinterest in clownery that Byakuya and Toushirou would get along really well, so it was a treat to see that affirmed during the mess that was the end of Bleach.

I'm glad that it was Toushirou, who is himself kind of a hard ass, gently poking fun at Byakuya for having a hard time telling Rukia and Renji to just go support their friend.

I feel vindicated in my belief that Byakuya and Toushirou are each other's preferred captains lol Byakuya is the miserable millennial to Toushirou's doomer zoomer. I want to be in their Teams chat so bad.

Also wow character growth, I feel like this is the first time I saw Byakuya look properly vulnerable without having some kind of horrible injury.
