Tier 5 of the Dummybots! Desk Drummer and the Specialist Work Martyr!

Theyre based off of instruments and plushies!

Desk Drummer: someone who taps or drums their fingers on a desk or other surface, often as a sign of boredom, impatience, or fidgeting.  I would think, a school house would have a bit of a music room! this one is made out of a Timpani, Tambourine, A microphone (in the chest) and a speaker! (in the leg) ive made this one the most accidentally coglike after the whiz. which is funny considering i think this one doesnt work at all! Making a desk symphony is much more important. i wanted to use percussion instruments to highlight this.

Work Martyr: someone who puts their job above their own well-being. They may feel guilty taking time off, and may work long hours to compensate.

i think this one being the most toon-adjacent to be fun. its still.. not actually a toon. actually its just has the head of a plushie.. and the body of one too. i wanted to invoke the traditional iconography of a martyr. or a sacrificial lamb. but i didnt want to get weird and religious and i found the bunny to work really well as its ears follow the book flaps! the paper is part of the cog, i like the look of it being a much smaller, more pathetic being thats being crushed under the work load.

One of the most irritating things about grad school is that the work martyr mentality forces many people to think coming into the lab sick is actually a good thing.
