I also worked on a new animation for Tuesdays workshop as I felt more comfortable working with sand. I wanted to illustrate what was happening in Gaza so I started the animation off with a jet that is used to bomb Gaza ( specifically the F-35 stealth aircraft made by Lockheed Martin in the US- info taken by declassifieduk.org ‘ what is the f-35 fighter jet Isreal uses to Bomb Gaza and Iran- 18/6/25) .

It then trasitions to a pot of hot food that hands then try to grab, this is referencing the people who are starving in Gaza, due to Israeli authorities stopping Humanitrain groups such as Oxfam and MSF from providing aid to the Palestinians ( info from BBC ‘New Israeli rules stopping crucial aid getting into Gaza, charities say’- 14/8/25)

I wanted to end the animation with a simple message ‘ End the Genocide’. We need to keep putting pressure on countries such as the US, Germany, UK, etc, to stop funding Israel’s weapons, and to keep supporting the humanitarian groups who fight so hard to provide aid to Gaza
