THE PLOT:
In 2014, Cathy Wellerstein finds a letter from her husband, Jamie, telling her that he’s left her. In 2009, Jamie Wellerstein meets Cathy Hiatt for the first time.
Cathy’s story moves backwards, through summers in Ohio and nights in Jamie’s shadow, back to the day she fell in love. Jamie’s story moves forwards, through temptations and victories, until the day he realizes he can’t stay. The plots only intersect at their wedding, with the scenes merging into a duet.
