Exploring how Small Businesses can grow their client base!!
With inflation at the top of everyone's minds, I put together a blog of helpful tips to combat the rising costs.
Working Better Together!
This past Tuesday, July 9th, Believe in Books Literacy Foundation hosted a “Working Better Together” luncheon in Littleton, NH. The “Working Better Together” lunches are held every other month throughout the North Country and are orchestrated through Granite United Way. Granite United Way is the result of six United Ways merging together to create a single, efficient organization that covers more than 80% of New Hampshire and Windsor County, Vermont. United Way’s mission is to improve lives by mobilizing the caring power of communities around the world to advance the common good. At each “Working Better Together” meeting a different non-profit is invited to host the luncheon and present information about what they offer to the local community to educate the non-profit community. After the host organization presents, each non-profit attendee is able to introduce themselves and offer either a success story or something that their organization needs. Participating members of these meetings not only get to know each other but they are also able to learn of many resources that are offered throughout the area. There have already been so many great connections that would have never occurred had these meetings not taken place! The July 9th “Working Better Together” hosted by BIBLF staff, Shelby Bellen, Katie Young, and Michele Wright was held at Thayer’s Inn on Main St. in Littleton. Food was provided by Smith Brothers Tavern. Over 25 organizations were represented at the historic inn. BIBLF was very thankful for the opportunity to present and host one of these great meetings and look forward to attending and hosting more in the future! The community truly works better and everyone works better together!
Remember, teamwork begins by building trust. And the only way to do that is to overcome our need for invulnerability.
