(i mean obvs not.. actually the mulan experience, but i did immediately picture just a Horde of naked men running past you in a a changing room)
not to sound dramatic, but the mulan scene was exactly how it happened
bc on monday, i only saw half-naked men and i was like “okay, cool, never again please” and the mulan scene actually did play through my head a million times, only it was only the yao on the rock scene
and then today BOOM, naked butts, and they were all tall basketball players, so my short self is eyesight in height with their crotch and it was definitely a “JEG VIL ALDRI SE EN NAKEN MANN IGJEN”
I did a bit of crossfit today with my brother who works at a gym and holy hell ya girl is gonna be sore tomorrow
Buttttt he was actually v impressed by how strong I was - I deadlifted 55 kilos which I thought was pretty damn cool 😎 I did 3 rounds of the following in 10:30 minutes (but let's ignore the fact that I wanted to kill myself after the first round lol)
10x kettle bell swings
5x ring pushups (Idk what they're called lmao)
8 burned calories on the assault bike (which, yes, was as brutal as the name suggests)
10x medicine ball squats where I held a 10 kilo ball, squatted and then had to throw the ball up at a wall and catch it again
5x pushups (which I did on my knees bc I am weak)
We started out by stretching in the weirdest ways, then did 5 minutes on the assault bike followed by about 15 minutes of deadlifting, starting out at 25k and working our way up to 55, then finished off with the 3 rounds of absolute TORTURE
My work brought in pulled pork bbq for lunch. I didn't know, so now I have a snack for later too!
First day of work at my second job!

Note to self
When going running for the first time since March, make sure to do so on a day you actually have ate something so you don't feel faint 2 miles into the run.
Lmao I need to not eat a huge dinner two hours before running hard because oops I almost barfed after a mile and a half
so i tried on the clothes i bought yesterday to show my mom and right away i could tell she had the “idk how to tell you those clothes don’t look good on you” face and so naturally i was extremely frustrated and upset because for the last so many years i just don’t seem to fit in anything. and it’s so tiring and it’s made me loath clothes shopping and my body. so i was upset and was all like well i guess we have to return them and mom was like yeah well just have to exchange them for smaller sizes
i was like
wait
SMALLER SIZES????
and she nodded her head like it was obvious and then i broke down. i just broke down in sobs because i cannot tell you the last time i had to go down a size in clothes. i couldn’t stop crying for probably at least ten minutes because that was just so strange to me because i got my usual sizes and once again they didn’t fit - but for all the right reasons this time
idk i guess it was just a really nice moment to have and it proved that all my hard work so far has been paying off
