what’s fun about creating a healthy lifestyle is that if you want, you can bring the people you love with you. we spend so much time doing things together - going out to eat, watching movies, exploring new spots…but how many of us rally with our family + friends to get that workout in? . it’s kind of crazy to me to think about the fact that health + fitness can be so dang compartmentalized in our lives. like, it’s our own thing that we do by ourselves. but i think the gift of health is SO much bigger than just us. our journeys can influence and impact and affect those around us - especially those closest to us. we can work out together to work towards our healthiest selves - why don’t we do more of that? . maybe it’s just getting off of the couch and out of the house to get outside + hike and see and explore. maybe it’s prioritizing your health + fitness journeys t o g e t h e r so you can all work hard + play harder. maybe it’s as simple as setting alarms a half hour earlier than normal so you can all start your day off the right way. maybe it’s encouraging one another and reminding one another of why the gift of health is just that - a gift. . this journey can be far more than our own if we let it + what a little gift that truly, truly is. . . #livingtheintegratedlife #workoutbuddies (at Denver, Colorado)
