New week! Hoping to lose the fat,3 follow these steps to see results. 1️⃣ Don’t do hours and hours of cardio for fat loss. If you enjoy doing cardio great stick with that however if you have little spare time and you’re someone that dislikes cardio try resistance training, HIIT or strength and conditioning. You can even stick to walking. Just make sure you enjoy the activity of your choice as you’re likely to stick with it and excel. 2️⃣ Ensure you are in a healthy calorie deficit. Do not follow a fad diet as this will cause your weight to yo yo and they are not long term sustainable nor healthy. If you’re not seeing results after a month reduce your carbohydrate calorie intake by 2 to 5%. Or add an extra 1,000 steps per day and keep your calorie intake the same. 3️⃣ Lastly track your progress, take pictures of yourself or track the weight/volume of weight you are lifting. Or how fast your jogging time is, or improving. Ensure their is progressive overload, without this your body will get used to the same workout and same weight and will adapt. Increase the weight little by little each week or two, or change the tempo, swap different exercises. Their are many more variables.
