Suggestion of the day - Workout in the AM
Last year, I would run 3 miles everyday in the morning before work. I loved to leave my nights after work free to hang out and see my boyfriend.
Last year I got a new job where the start time was at 10am so it was lovely to be able to work out LONG in the morning and be energized throughout the day. Besides, I didn't want to work out after work when I left at 7.
But 6 months later I quit that fabulous late starting job and had to be at work at 8 again. I couldn't readjust my body quickly to get up at 6am instead of at 8 like I used to so I started working out after work. I either would feel hella sluggish or just skip it because work made me so pissed.
Today though, I got up at 6:45 and ran...it felt so good. The weather was warm and perfect and I got to listen to Cosmo Radio the whole way. LOVED it! I missed it!
So I have to adjust my morning routine to not include velcro rollers to make it to work on time but I'd much rather run before work then after. It gets it out of the way, it gets you buzzed for the morning, and frees up your nights.
Now that the weather is nicer and the sun comes out earlier, I think I'll be able to lose more fat if I run in the mornings at least on Monday, Wednesdays, and Fridays (Tues and Thurs are Crossfits after work which I love).
