Workshop poem from 6-24-15
Today’s workshop was given by our feature, Breeze. The task was to write a love poem to your insecurity/insecurities. To up the ante, your poem would be ten lines and, starting with a ten word line, each proceeding line would contain one fewer word. Here’s what I came up with:
My sweet anti-hero, my base of breath and my foundation, I do not adore you, nor bask in you; Your gift is driving me to love harder. When you tell me I am unworthy Of love today it means I Am capable tomorrow. When you’re Measured in absence you Show me I’ve Already been Wanted.
