Dear Diary, My jointer and I had our first big argument today. It all started as I was stacking boards next to the infeed table. Suddenly, the jointer yelled, "SOFTWOOD AGAIN?!! That's all you ever give me! I'm sick and tired of redwood, pine, cedar and Douglas fir! Why can't I have some oak, walnut or maple like the other jointers?!" I was so hurt and angry that I couldn't even respond, so I just pulled the plug and walked away.
