Alrighty Folks, Welcome to our little Dungeons and dragons experience. I am Dire Bear DM, the dungeon master of our group. I wanted to start by giving a little background to the setting of our campaign. Everything is custom made so thoughts may get a little scattered. Our campaign is pretty bleak, but has undertones of hope so don’t let the description spook you!
This campaign takes place in the land of Amador. Each mountain, river, valley, and creature crafted by the gods is now tormented by beings and beasts set on creating chaos. Humanity has turned vile, enslaving many other races for its own gain. Human, elves, dwarves, dragon born and halflings reign supreme in this land, some even putting themselves above the gods. Many myths of the gods have faded and with a weakened following their power is fading quickly. In their weakened state they are unable to answer the few prayers they receive and people continue to lose faith. Selfishness runs rampant in Amador, killing for land, money, and mere pleasure is quite common allowing bandits, slavers, and mercenaries to thrive.
Mountain Elves
Very much similar to the drow of Dungeons & Dragons the mountain elves from the empire remain matriarchal with the House being led by the strongest female, a female who dictates the actions of the rest of her house. She is the woman standing at the dinner table, standing when she address those with whom visit as a sign of her endurance. She is the one who choses who teaches the sons of her house how to behave around woman. In all things. While the Mountain Elves are not worshippers of Lloth and do not sacrifice their men or sons. Their males are often house husbands, and fathers. They are not equal to their wives. Though this is something that varies with them. Most males are not ambitious in the Imperial Lands. They are content with marrying well and serving their wives and houses. Mountain Elves not from the Empire has evolved to being equals and not following the older traditions so closely. As it applies to my character :Sha'arnez is quiet different as he is both ambitious and not interested in following the stricter traditions of his people. He is a dragon rider. He is not interested in marrying well, he is interested in making a name for himself and has. As the personal dragon rider of the Emperor's Son. He is the best of the dragon riders.
Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm tempted to maybe drop Sultiva lore.......
And maybe Talmons design as well since I've had it for...awhile now.
But this blog isn't very active but I don't wanna spoil anything too early into the story.
Choices to be made, choices to be made.
New character to be introduced soon :)
Someone who will help move things along if I manage to do this correctly
Though, there is no correct or incorrect way to put a story together
Just know they are different than who's already been introduced.
If Holo were to have any sort of weapon i realized he'd probably have a hand crafted bow and arrow He would be pretty good with making spears and tools and such, making it a good bit easier to survive in the rainforest he lives in. Can it be considered a rainforest? I dunno. Deep forest area with creatures of which are never seen outside of that area. Living in a place like that you may wonder how our little weather god met a little plant wolf I has plans that are to come into fruition soon :)
Ok so a few days ago I drew cool circles on my hand with a pen that kinda look like scales and today I looked at them and thought again that they look like scales
I then realized I was dehydrated so I went inside to get water and then had a thought
What if there was a society somewhere that worshipped water for the life it can bring and the lives it can take? I think that would be cool
